Ashton was born to Penelope and Simon Peters in the summer of 1979. Having been born in a pureblood family, he never understood anything to do with muggles or the muggle world, although he was deeply interested in their culture and was always seen reading history books or muggle fiction. He also had a lot of muggleborn friends, who often sat and told him stories of their lives before they found out that they were actually witches and wizards.
His life came to an end in the Battle of Hogwarts. He had been killed by the same person who killed Tonks and Remus, but he had never learnt who this person was. He just remembered hearing their voices as they cried out in pain and knew all of them died practically at the same time. Hogwarts had always been his home, so from the second he returned as a ghost he was relieved and quite happy that he had died here, rather than lived another however many years and lost his life somewhere random.
These days, Ash wanders the halls of Hogwarts and sometimes even sits next to students in the Great Hall or attends classes, giving out advice on multiple subjects and still carrying on with his life as if he is still alive.
